The History of the Samurai
Samurais are known in Japan as experienced fighters and strong warriors. In order to stay healthy and in good shape, Samurais had to follow a certain diet which consists of an abundant portion of rice, vegetables, fish, and meat.
“I can’t go to war If I am hungry!” - a typical phrase said by a Samurai. In other words, it just illustrates how important it is for a soldier to eat well to live well.
Nowadays we use this proverb whenever someone needs energy. "Better you eat well!" We will learn (and eat..) quite a big “volume” of meals in this class.
